DSI Solutions
DSI Solutions is a Credit Report Repair firm located in Whiting, IN.
Interestingly, they are not affiliated with a law firm, which detracts somewhat from their credibility.
The company has been in business for more than seven years and makes the claim that it has helped thousands of people. DSI says they can be finished with your credit report repair in about a 6 month time span. They only offer a single level of service and have a simple payment plan. They are only available through online services.
The Good:
- DSI says they will obtain your credit report for you.
- The company has a guarantee of customer satisfaction with a money back “clause.”
The Bad:
- DSI Solutions doesn't appear to be associated with the BBB. This is a red flag.
- DSI doesn't have attorneys to offer advice to clients. Another red flag.
- Language on the site can be misleading, in that they seem to guarantee results, but it isn't clear what results they guarantee.
- The Web site is poorly designed and lacks information about the company. Not sure if this is intentional or just a lack of understanding of the web.
The Ugly:
- DSI mandates that you turn over your social security number and credit card information to them at the sign-up!
- Beware of “we guarantee” or “we promise” language!
